My piano technique was still bad>.< i just realized that.. :(
I know, my fingers are SHORT... it's difficult to play octaves. Still need to practice so hard to master the technique of playing the piano that most appropriate. Though, I've asked my teacher, is it true if my fingers haven't curved when plays octaves. My teacher may say, yes, maybe she probably understand because my fingers are too long yet, but maybe it was a big mistake for the pianist.. well .. I'll keep trying to play with perfect technique, in order to achieve my dream became a world-class pianist! In 2014, i would join some piano competition. One of them is Yamaha Piano Competition. In music school stage, i got the first place winner. I played Rapsodia Nusantara no.9 by Ananda Sukarlan, Indonesian composer and pianist. It was his arrangement from Indonesian folk song called "Ampar-Ampar Pisang" and "Kota Baru", which had a fairly high level of difficulty. I was sent to the regional stage of Jabodetabek. I've practice again and again. Actually, my song wasn't a pure classical song. Jury of music school stage could argue that. I guess i can't join the regional stage, but apparently i can! But in regional stage, i can't be the winner because that problem :(
I'll try harder for the next competitions!!
